1. WEATHER REPORT

The air has been heavy all day

now the rains have come

heavy, pelting rain

thunder in the distance.

Domestic creativity is called for. This will be a night to invent supper from whatever I can find in the refrigerator - because I am not going out to the store.

2. STORYTELLING TIP

Today I taped my tv show. I was feeling pretty good in my " great buy" silk shantung blouse - a jewel tone cobalt blue. Until I watched the tape. Everytime I moved you can hear the lapel mic rub against the fabric - leaving a scraping sound in the backgroud. Oops. Have to re-tape. So, the tip is - don't wear noise-maker clothing when taping a story for television.
