Frustrated
We went out for four hours
Returned hopeful there would be lights in the windows
and air conditioning.
Hopes high
Riding down our street
Where lights glowed in the windows
Then - darkness
Lights still out in a three block area around our house.
Lights surround us.
You know the air-conditioning is running
Food is not rotting in their refrigerator
Our neighors.
AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
